Home Alone Movie Story
When cocky eight-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) becomes distraught on the eve of a family trip to Paris, his mother (Catherine O’Hara) puts him to sleep in the attic. After the McCallisters mistakenly leave for the airport without Kevin, he wakes up to an empty house and believes his wish of never having a family has been fulfilled. But his joy is dampened when he discovers that two con men (Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern) are planning to rob the McCallisters, forcing him to defend the house alone.
