Misery Movie Story
After a serious car accident, novelist Paul Sheldon (James Caan) is rescued by Annie Wilkes (Kathy Bates), a former nurse and huge fan of his. Annie takes him to a secluded cabin to recuperate, but her obsession takes a dark turn when she discovers that Sheldon has been killing off her favorite characters from his novels. As Sheldon attempts to flee, Annie becomes increasingly controlling, even violent, forcing the author to adapt his writing to fit her own perverse fantasies.
