After his family’s killer is set free in a settlement, a disgruntled man decides to take justice into his own hands. He targets not only the killer, but also the prosecutor and others involved in the deal.

Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) was a family man until his wife and daughter were murdered by a robber. He wants justice, but an up-and-coming prosecutor named Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx) makes a deal with one of the killers in exchange for his testimony. Ten years later, the man is found dead and Shelton coldly pleads guilty. He then gives Rice an ultimatum: fix our broken legal system or face the consequences.
