Edward Scissorhands Movie Story
A scientist (Vincent Price) creates an animated human, the kind-hearted Edward (Johnny Depp). However, the scientist dies before he can complete Edward’s construction, leaving the young man with a strange appearance, further enhanced by the scissor blades he holds in place of hands. Peg (Dianne Wiest), a doting suburban saleswoman, discovers Edward and takes him home, where he falls in love with Peg’s teenage daughter (Winona Ryder). But despite his kindness and artistic talent, Edward’s hand has made him an outsider.
