Mulan Movie Story
Fearing that her ailing father will be drafted into the Chinese army, Mulan (Ming-Na Wen) steps in to take his place, despite the fact that as a girl living in a patriarchal society she is in fact unfit for military service. She skillfully masquerades as a man and attends training with the other recruits. Accompanied by her dragon Mushu (Eddie Murphy), she cleverly fends off a Hun invasion, falling in love with a daring captain in the process.
