Former movie superhero Riggan Thompson (Michael Keaton) embarks on an ambitious Broadway production that will breathe new life into his stagnant career. Though it’s risky, he hopes his creative venture will prove he’s a true artist, not just a movie star. When a colleague is injured just before the premiere, Riggan is forced to hire an actor (Edward Norton) who is sure to cause a stir.
